Who runs Habit FM

Habit FM is made by Adolfo Ocampo in Sweden. If you have a question about your data, write to hi@habit.fm. We keep as little as we can, and we never sell it.

What we collect

In the app, your habits and sessions stay on your phone first. If you sign in, we store your email and what is needed to sync. If you ask for early access, we store your email. We also keep simple visit stats, described below. Nothing else.

Connected social accounts

Habit FM Studio is our own internal tool. It uses TikTok Login Kit and the TikTok Content Posting API, and the Instagram and Facebook (Meta) APIs, only to publish Habit FM's own videos to Habit FM's own accounts.

We read only the basic profile information needed to post, like account id, name, and avatar.

Access tokens are encrypted and kept on our server, never in a browser.

We never post for other people, never read your private messages or followers, and never sell or share this data.

You can revoke access any time in your TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook settings, or by emailing hi@habit.fm. On request, we delete the stored tokens and related data.

How we count visits

We like knowing roughly how many people stop by, so we keep simple visit stats on our own server. No cookies, nothing saved in your browser, no third-party trackers.

When you open a page, our server notes which page it was, the site that sent you (if any), your browser's language, your device and browser type, and your country. To tell new visitors from returning ones, we turn your IP address into a scrambled fingerprint using a secret key. The real address is never stored, and the fingerprint can't be turned back into it.

That's it. We use this only to see what's working, and we never sell it or share it.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data any time at hi@habit.fm. We answer within 30 days. We process data under the EU GDPR.
